Lyvia played much better today although still had issues with speed control on the green.
She was happy playing along side with her friend Braedyn. The threesome teed off on no. 10. Lyvia three putted there and followed with a par putt that stopped several inches short of the hole. Then she three putted on par-5 no. 13 from 12 feet with the 4-foot par putt rung out. She almost chipped in on no. 14, then managed birdies on no. 15 and 16. She putted too aggressively on no. 17 from 4 feet out, the ball went straight over the cup resulting another bogey. Lyvia was 2 over at the turn.
She had a nice approaching shot on no. 5 but left the birdie putt way short once again. Lyvia did band in a long birdie putt on par-5 no. 7 and had a beautiful sand save on no. 8. She laid up with a hybrid tee shot on no. 9 for her trusted 7H and made the par putt. She was even par on the front nine.
Lyvia's 74 was the third best score in the field for the 2nd round. The two-day total of 159 placed her at 23rd in the field of 100 finalists.
