I was on a temporary assignment in Tempe and took the opportunities visited the Saguaro National Park. Here are some photos of my trip,

The saguaro grows only in the Sonoran Desert which is in southern Arizona, California along the Colorado river and the northern Mexican state of Sonora. The saguaro has been described as the monarch of the Sonoran Desert as the supereme symbol of the American Southwest and as a plant with personality. It can live more than 200 years, attaining heights of 30 to 50 feet. It is renowned for the variety of odd, all-too-human shapes it assumes, shapes that inspire wild and fanciful imaginings.
